Billie Eilish, Fred Again.., The Killers To Headline Ireland's Electric Picnic Festival 2023
Billie Eilish, Fred Again.. And The Killers have been announced as the headliners for this year's Electric Picnic – check out the full line-up below.
Eilish will top the bill at the Irish music and arts festival on Friday, September 1, with Fred Again.. Taking on Saturday and The Killers headlining Sunday.
Elsewhere on the line-up for Electric Picnic 2023 are the likes of Niall Horan, Lewis Capaldi, Idles, Jamie XX, Johnny Marr and PinkPantheress.
Also appearing across the weekend will be Young Fathers, Viagra Boys, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Mimi Webb, Rick Astley, Steve Lacy, Ethel Cain and more.
Tickets are now officially sold out, though organisers promise that "many more" acts will be confirmed over the coming months.

In other news, Skrillex, Fred Again.. And Four Tet have shared a full recording of their closing set from weekend two of Coachella 2023.
The three DJs took the the "TBA" slot after Blink-182 on the main stage on Sunday, which came after Frank Ocean's withdrawal from Coachella Weekend 2 following doctor's orders due to leg fractures sustained by the singer in the lead up to the festival.
Also at Coachella, Labrinth was joined onstage by Eilish on April 15 to perform their new collaboration 'Never Felt So Alone'. The singer surprised fans by joining Labrinth onstage towards the end of his set to deliver the Finneas co-produced song, which previously premiered on HBO's hit series, Euphoria.
Elsewhere, The Killers are set to headline Life Is Beautiful festival, alongside Kendrick Lamar and ODESZA. This year's festival, which takes place in September, marks a decade of the Downtown Las Vegas event.
The 1975, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Omar Apollo will also be heading to Sin City this year. Last year, Arctic Monkeys, Lorde and Gorillaz headlined the event.

A comedy show and concert with Dave Chappelle and the Roots kicks things off Friday June 2, at Wells Fargo Center, followed by two days of concerts at Fairmount Park.
Close to 50,000 people are expected throughout the weekend. Whether you are going or simply want to avoid road closures, here is everything you need to know about Roots Picnic:
Hours
This year, Roots Picnic runs from June 2 to 4. On Friday, comedian Dave Chappelle opens the weekend with a cell phone-free show, at 7:30 p.M., in Wells Fargo Center.
Saturday and Sunday will fill Fairmount Park's Mann Center with music. Multiple concerts will take place throughout the weekend, rain or shine, from one to 11 p.M.
Schedule
The lineup was announced in February, including Ms. Lauryn Hill, Lil Uzi Vert, and Diddy. But, according to the festival's terms, artists are subject to change. Just this week, we learned Diddy is out, and Usher is replacing him.
Tickets
This might be a three-day event, but tickets are sold separately. According to Roots Picnic, the Dave Chappelle event is sold out. But, Wells Fargo's website still displays available tickets ranging between $94.50 to $344.50.
For the music festival, Ticketmaster is your go-to. Unlike last year, the 2023 edition brings five ticketing categories, and they don't all include both-day entry:
If your ticket is not General Admission Plus or VIP, there is no assigned seating. You might want to arrive early to get a good spot. But, once you enter, don't leave because there is no re-entry.
Food and drink
When you get hungry, check out the local food trucks sprinkled across the festival. Lil Trent's Grille, Everything Legendary's burgers, Juiced by B, Chiwaffles, Down North Pizza, and more options will be available.

Stages and Events
On Thursday, June 1, with the first "Roots Picnic Con." The event will take place at the Logan Hotel, between 10 a.M. To 3 p.M. And, folk can assist to learn about entrepreneurship, finances, and education.
On Friday, the Roots is holding two ticketed parties. People can spend the night at U+Me+RNB party, at Franklin Hall, beginning at 9 p.M. Tickets are $25 to $50. Or, check out Jerk x Jollof party at NONO, between 10 p.M. To 2 a.M. Tickets range from $11.90 to $47.78.
This year's picnic is divided into two music stages, with music happening simultaneously, and one podcast stage.
To end the weekend experience, Roots is organizing a brunch. On Sunday, go to Punchline Philly for a "chill vibes brunch" curated by Foodchasers Kitchen.
❌ What you can't bring
Weapons, selfie sticks, iPads, tablets, laptops, drones, food, alcohol, kegs or mini kegs, glass (of any kind), professional camera equipment, GoPros, tents, canopies, lawn chairs, signs (over 8.5 x 11 inches), camping equipment, beach or golf umbrellas, laser pointers, pets (except service animals), and backpacks.
Risking bringing any of these items can result in you losing them. They will be confiscated, and you can't get them back.
✅ What you can bring
đ Blankets and portable phone charges are allowed.
đ§ You can bring your own water, but there are some restrictions. It must either be a factory-sealed plastic bottle of up to 20 ounces. Or, an empty non-glass water container, up to 2 liters. If you have a one-pocket Camelbak water bladder system, bring it. But, don't forget to empty it beforehand.
đ Over-the-counter medication is allowed, as long as it is in the original sealed container. Every day, you can only enter with enough medication for one day. They will check your photo ID and the bottle content.
đ Clear plastic, vinyl, or synthetic plastic tote bag are allowed. But, it must be up to 12 inches tall or wide, and 6 inches deep, with a single compartment. Small clutch bags are also an option, as long as they aren't bigger than 4.5 inches tall and 6.5 inches wide. They will also be selling $10 plastic totes at the gates, in case you need them.
☂️ Small, collapsible-shaft, tote, and purse umbrellas are welcome.
☀️ Non-aerosol liquid sunscreen and bug spray are allowed (less than 3 ounces).
Parking
Picnic attendees have free parking at the Mann, 5201 Parkside Ave. The main entrance is at Belmont and Montgomery Streets. But, there are additional doors on 52nd Street.
Road Closures
Although the Roots Picnic isn't taking place until early June, road closures and restrictions begin as early as May 22 for the setup.

Electric Daisy Carnival
Electric Daisy CarnivalElectric Daisy Carnival, or EDC, is the largest electronic dance music festival in North America taking place from May 19-21 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Headliners include Kaskade, Alison Wonderland, David Guetta, Zedd, Martin Garrix and hundreds more.
Hangout Fest
A true beachfront festival, Hangout music festival is taking place at the Gulf Shores, Alabama from May 19-21. Along the beach are different themed areas for people to spend their days in the sun, including a disco roller rink and a wedding chapel. Headliners throughout the three-day festival include SZA, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Calvin Harris, Paramore, Lil Nas X and The Kid Laroi.
Summer Camp Music Festival
Founded by Jay Goldberg, Summer Camp Music Festival announced it will be taking a hiatus after 2023 — the event's first break since its creation 22 years ago. Get in one last weekend from May 26-28 at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois, and see headliners Willie Nelson and Family, Excision, Goose, Moe and more.
Movement Electronic Festival
Another EDM festival, Movement Electronic, is taking place Memorial Day weekend, May 27-29, at Hart Plaza in Detroit, Michigan. With booths for attendees to immerse themselves in the world of techno and six themed stages, headliners include Underworld, Charlotte De Witte and Basement Jaxx.
Lightning in a Bottle
Lightning in a Bottle is a multi-genre festival on Buena Vista Lake in Kern County, California from May 24-29. In addition to performances by headliners Diplo, Sofi Tukker, Zhu, Caribou, Liquid Stranger, LSDREAM and more, LIB also offers yoga classes, expert speaker sessions and a marketplace.
Boston Calling
Boston Calling is a rock, pop and hip-hop festival that is taking place from May 26-28 at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Boston, Massachusetts. With the Green, Red, Blue and Orange stages, festival-goers will have to map out who they want to see, such as headliners Foo Fighters, The Lumineers, Paramore and Alanis Morissette.
Roots Picnic
Roots Picnic at the Mann in Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is a festival hosted by hip hop group, the Roots, and is taking place June 2-4. Headliners include Lil Uzi Vert, Diddy and the Roots, Ms. Lauryn Hill and Dave Chappelle for Friday night comedy.
CMA Fest

The Governors Ball
The Governors Ball in New York City is switching up its venue this year from the traditional Randall's Island to Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, New York, and is taking place from June 9-11. Headliners include Lizzo, Kendrick Lamar, Odesza, Lil Nas X and Haim.
Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival
Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival on a 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee crosses genres and is occurring from June 15-18. Headliners include Zeds Dead, Liquid Stranger, Kendrick Lamar, Odesza and Foo Fighters.
So What?! Music Festival
So What?! Is a rock music festival at Fair Park Coliseum in Dallas, Texas spanning two days from June 24-25. Headliners include Pierce the Veil, The Used, Sleeping with Sirens and Neck Deep.
Electric Forest
True to its name, multi-genre music festival Electric Forest is taking place in the woods of Rothbury, Michigan from June 22-25. Headliners include Odesza, Illenium, Zeds Dead, Above and Beyond, Sofi Tukker, Chris Lake and more.
Summerfest
Hosting over 800 bands over three weekends, Summerfest will occur from June 22-25, June 29-July 1 and July 6-8 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On May 15, organizers announced free bonus concerts at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater with performances by Elle King, Jenny Lewis, Yung Gravy and more. Festival stage headliners include The Avett Brothers, Elvis Costello & the Imposters, Santa Fe Klan and Ava Max.
Pitchfork
Pitchfork is a three-day festival that welcomes all ages taking place from July 21-23 at Chicago's Union Park in Illinois. Headliners include Bon Iver, The Smile and Big Thief, with crafts, a vinyl shop, artist interviews and more to fill the time between sets.
Rolling Loud
Rolling Loud is a hip-hop music festival that is taking place all over the world throughout the year, with the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida being the summer stop from July 21-23. Headliners include Playboy Carti, Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, 21 Savage, Kodak Black and more.
Lollapalooza
Lollapalooza, one of the biggest festivals of the summer, will take place Aug. 3-6 at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois. Headliners throughout the weekend include Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, The 1975, Odesza, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Lana Del Rey.
Watershed
The biggest "Camping and Country Music" festival in the Northwest, Watershed takes place at the Gorge in George, Washington from Aug. 4-6. On stage overlooking the Columbia River, festival headliners include Keith Urban, Cody Johnson, Luke Bryan, Lainey Wilson and Carly Pearce.
Elements Music and Arts Festival
Known to be a "car camping" festival, Elements Music and Arts Festival is a three-day event occurring from August 11-14 in Long Pond, Pennsylvania that features bass music, psychedelic, world music, jam bands, and experimental music. Headliners include Chris Lake, Ganja White Night, John Summit and Skrillex.
Outside Lands
Set at the Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, California, Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival, which will be from Aug. 11-13, brings beer, wine, food, art and music to the Bay Area. Headliners include Kendrick Lamar, Odesza, Foo Fighters, Lana Del Rey, The 1975, Megan Thee Stallion and more.
Electric Zoo
Electric Zoo, one of New York City's largest music festivals, is at Randall's Island Park showcases EDM genres will be taking place over Labor Day Weekend, from Sept. 2-4. Headliners include Porter Robinson, Chris Lake, Martin Garrix, Diplo, DJ Snake and more.
Made in America
Founded by JAY-Z, Made in America is an annual two-day concert that closes out the summer, occurring over Labor Day Weekend from Sept. 2-3 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. With various genres of music, headliners will include Bad Bunny and Tyler, the Creator.
Music Midtown
music midtownMusic Midtown takes place at the wind-down of the summer festivals from Sept. 15-17 at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia. Headliners throughout the three-day festival are Pink, Flume, Pitbull, Billie Eilish, The 1975, Guns N' Roses and Lil Baby.
Sound on Sound
sound on soundSound on Sound at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, Connecticut, closes out the summer festival season with one last weekend of music from Sept. 30-Oct. 1. Headliners include John Mayer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alanis Morissette and Hozier.
