Three major reasons Halton can look forward to 2021 - Liverpool Echo Three major reasons Halton can look forward to 2021 - Liverpool Echo Posted: 31 Dec 2020 12:06 AM PST It is safe to say that 2020 has been tough for everybody, with the pandemic forcing us inside and cancelling almost everything we were looking forward to this year. Halton has not escaped the virus , which along with the health consequences, has seen highly anticipated events cancelled. A tribute to the Stone Roses' legendary Spike Island gig scheduled for the summer had to be called off, as did the usual Bonfire Night fireworks display and the much-loved pantomime at the Brindley.
