The star, who was smiling and stumbling over his words abruptly said: 'My buddy told me, this is just a microdose of mushrooms and he was lying.
'So, I'll be honest, I thought I was in Blades of Glory for most of the time that I was out there, until it sort of settled down and then I realized, 'Holy s***, I am in the NHL All-Star Game.'
As Arnett cracked a joke about that admission destroying Buble's career, the Just Haven't Met You Yet singer said: 'The mushroom talk cost me all my contracts, cost me a lot of income.'

The Canadian star who is known as the King of Christmas, recently confessed that he would like people to get to know the real him.
The Feeling Good singer has said that he would like to go into 'movies and television' so that fans can meet 'Mike' instead of the 'suit wearing' Michael Bublé.
He said: 'Every night I go out and put on this suit and then when I walk out on stage I become the guy I always wanted to be. He's so cool, Teflon and says all the right things. I can be goofy but there's another.
'You're going to meet him. I'm going to make sure the whole world meets him. For 20 years I have done the same thing, it has been cyclical.
'Michael writes and makes a great record and I go to 40 countries and promote it and then I go on tour for a year and a half.
'I feel like I'm at this point in my life and my career where I want to do something different. Music will always be my happy place and my love but I need time to do some other stuff.
'Really it is about being that other guy – not the suit guy – being Mike. Whether that is in movies or television or whatever it is, it has to happen now.'
It comes after Michael opened up about how his son Noah's liver cancer battle 'reset' his priorities in life.
The star, who was smiling and stumbling over his words abruptly said: 'My buddy told me, this is just a microdose of mushrooms and he was lying. So, I'll be honest, I thought I was in Blades of Glory for most of the time that I was out there'

The singer revealed how his son Noah, now ten, being diagnosed with hepatoblastoma at the age of three in 2016 'pulled the curtain from over his eyes'.
He emotionally confessed that the diagnosis was a 'sledgehammer' to his life and made him reset his priorities, focusing on his family rather than his career and 'ego'.
Speaking to Steven Bartlett on The Diary of a CEO podcast, Michael appeared tearful as he said he will never be 'carefree' again in his life after his son's cancer battle.
The star - who is married to Luisana Lopilato - explained: 'My son's cancer diagnosis rocked my world. It pulled the curtain from over my eyes. I don't want to get deeper into it, but I don't think I had context.
'That was a sledgehammer to my reality, I will never be carefree again in my life, and that's OK.
'It is a privilege for me to exist and that pain, fear and suffering that comes with those sorts of things, it's part of this life.
'When it actually happened, I was going through a crisis. I don't think I had my priorities straight. My family was always a love - I don't think I was a terrible guy but it was blinders - career, ambition, how do I become the baddest, biggest, best? More ego, more power.'
Michael said he felt like he was living with a 'curtain' in front of him before his son Noah's cancer diagnosis, when he made a promise to himself to abandon his 'ego'.
'It's like life was lived with like a curtain in front of me, like a filter and the moment that they said "this is what's happening", that reality hit me - filter gone, in a moment,' he went on.
'I went OK, this is it, this is life, that is what's important. It's not like I thought about it, I didn't, there was no time to process it.'

As well as son Noah, Michael shares kids Elias, seven, Vida, five, and Cielo, 16 months, with his actress wife Luisana Lopilato (both pictured in May 2022)
'I remember closing my eyes and saying to myself, if we get out of this I'm living a different life, a better life. And I did, I made that promise to myself in a moment.
'I want to be kinder, I want to be more empathetic, I don't want that ego and that false self to take over, I want to know how lucky I am.
'I'm a lucky man, look at my wife, how did that happen, how did I get this incredible human being who is the best of all of us to lead me through and carry me through these things?'
Noah had to undergo chemotherapy and radiotherapy following his diagnosis of hepatoblastoma, a rare type of liver cancer, and he is now in remission.
As well as Noah, Michael shares kids Elias, seven, Vida, five, and Cielo, 16 months, with his actress wife Luisana.
Michael Bublé Was Apparently On Mushrooms During The Entire NHL All-Star Draft
Michael Bublé has gone viral for admitting he was on mushrooms whilst attending the NHL All-Star draft.
The crooner was recently announced as one of four team captains in the star-studded charity hockey game. Justin Bieber, Tate McRae and Will Arnett were also announced to play in the game, which will officially occur on February 3.
However, in a draft held on February 1 to help captains choose their teams, Bublé confessed he was high during the entire event.
In a press conference held after the draft, Bublé sat next to a bewildered Arnett to relay his experience. At first responding to a question about his fantasy hockey league, Bublé steered the conversation into a much different direction.
"My buddy told me, 'This is just a microdose of mushrooms'… and he was lying," Bublé began. "So, I'll be honest, I thought I was in Blades of Glory for most of the time that I was out there until it sort of settled down. And then I realised, 'Holy shit. I am at the NHL All-Star Game.'"

Arnett then joked: "It just occurs to me that through all the incredible songs that you've done over the years and all the hearts of women that you've won over around the world, with all that talk about fantasy hockey, you lost them all in one sentence."
"The mushroom talk lost me all my contracts," Bublé quipped back.
However, Bublé has seemingly retracted his statement in comments after the press conference. Responding to an Instagram comment under a post asking him "How were the shrooms?", Bublé wrote: "20 years and people still don't get my humor. I just keep rolling. Lol".
He also further denied he was on mushrooms in an interview with iHeartRadio. Asked whether the mushrooms had worn off, he responded: "What mushrooms? Do you have mushrooms? Is that what you're saying?"
Bublé went on to say: "I want to know how many mushrooms do people have to be on to not know my sense of humor after 20 years. That's my big question."
In other recent news, Bublé performed a tribute to Barry Gibb at the 2023 Kennedy Center Honors.
Michael Bublé's Tear-jerking Honour To King Charles During Meghan And Harry's Send Off
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were given a heartwarming send off by Michael Bublé on Friday night.
The couple attended a lavish gala dinner with 200 guests in Vancouver to wrap up their tour in preparation for the 2025 Winter Invictus Games.
Michael, 48, rewrote the lyrics to Frank Sinatra's hit song My Way as he also paid tribute to King Charles and sent him "healing wishes" amid his cancer battle.
Shortly before a speech by the Duke, Michael performed a rewritten version of the song.
Ahead of the performance, he explained that he was happy to show both the Duke and his wife, Meghan, "how beautiful this place is," referring to his home country of Canada.
The Canadian crooner sang, "Our healing wishes for your dad", in a sweet gesture to the King, who was recently diagnosed with cancer.
In a nod to Harry, Michael sang the lyrics: "You've earned each day, the right to say, I did it my way," and referred to the duke as a "visionary".
The performance took place at the One Year to Go Dinner event at the Vancouver Convention Center, where Michael sang the track that was co-written with Paul Anka.
Meghan and Harry had been expected to head home to Montecito, California but following three days of Invictus Games events in Whistler and Vancouver the couple decided to extend their stay and enjoy some downtime with the atheletes and organisers.
Michael shared it was emotional for him to be there and that he loved that "we can show Harry and Meghan how beautiful this place is".
Other lyrics swapped by Michael included: "Nothing tames, Invictus Games, you play them your way, One man, life-changing plan, he does all he can, he's a visionary".
Michael's serenade took place after the musician joined the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at the Hillcrest Community Centre in Vancouver Friday for some wheelchair curling.
The Duke thanked the audience for their "commitment to making Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 possible."
"When I am with the Invictus community surrounded by so many brave men and women who have served their countries with distinction, I feel humbled and at home," he said at the dinner, before toasting the decade anniversary of the Invictus Games.
