Here Is A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie's 'Better Off Alone Tour' Setlist
For much of the past month, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie has been bouncing around Europe on the first leg of his Better Off Alone Tour. The Bronx-bred star is returning to the US for the North American leg of the tour on May 18 in Seattle, Washington, but his overseas shows have given local fans a glimpse of what they can expect.
In addition to fan favorites like "Ransom," "Swervin'," and his breakout hit "Drowning" (which also closes the show), A Boogie also peppers in his verses from collaborations with Chris Brown and the late PnB Rock and Pop Smoke. He'll be joined on the tour in the US by a troupe of openers including Byron Messia, Dess Dior, Fridayy, Luh Tyler, NLE Choppa. Meanwhile, the album from which the tour takes its title hasn't been given an official release date — although Genius.Com does posit it'll drop the day before the tour hits Seattle, May 17. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Claims He Was Maced During Paris Nightclub Brawl
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie found himself involved in an altercation outside of a Paris nightclub over the weekend. Now he says the only reason the opposing party didn't get a proper beatdown is because he was maced.
In a video clip shared to his Instagram Stories, A-Boogie is seen backing away from the fight after a club security guard appears to spray him with mace. He wrote across the footage, "LMAO f### I look like playing with mace n##### can't fight." He added in a separate post, "N##### only got out of there cause the maced us. Never runnin' from a n####!" A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie was in the French capital, where he was scheduled to perform on his Better Off Alone Tour Sunday night (April 28). But he soon ran into trouble at the after party. Footage shared on social media shows A-Boogie approaching the venue while drinking from a bottle of alcohol. He passes it to someone in his team, but security is already arguing with his entourage. A-Boogie says, "We out," before heading toward his vehicle but suddenly walks back to the club, lifting the rope blocking entry. Chaos erupts as security blocks him, with one bouncer pushing A-Boogie. He's then whisked away by a friend as one of the security guards sprays what is now presumed to be mace. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie has explained his side of a recent incident that went down after he and his crew were denied entry into a club in Paris.
The rapper is currently performing in Europe as part of his Better Off Alone Tour, and he ran into some trouble when he took some time off around his Paris show on Sunday, April 28. In a video, which can be seen below, the rapper was drinking from a bottle of champagne as he attempted to make his way into a club. The bouncers appeared to tell him that he couldn't go inside with the bottle, so he put it down and his entourage got into an argument with them.
He then indicated that he would be leaving, but not before he walked back up to the bouncers. It appears he went back to grab his bottle or attempted to walk into the club again. It isn't clear.
A bouncer stopped him almost immediately, and he backed off as the bouncer approached him with a pole. At one point, a glass bottle is heard breaking. Boogie continued to exchange words with the bouncer and express his frustration but ultimately left the scene.
In a since-deleted post shared on his Instagram Story, A Boogie addressed the situation and said that he only backed off because one of the bouncers used mace on him. "N***as only got outta there cus they [maced] us! Never runnin from a n***a," he wrote. "Lmao fuck I look like playin with [mace] n***as can't fight."
The incident comes ahead of the release of his new album, Better Off Alone. The project is scheduled to drop on May 17 following the conclusion of the New York rapper's European leg of his tour, which restarts with North American dates from May 18.
