Newport Jazz Festival Announces 2024 Lineup: André 3000, Elvis Costello, More

The annual three-day extravaganza recruited some of the biggest names in music — including a few that don't typically fall under the jazz genre — to jam out over the long weekend.
André 3000, Elvis Costello, Nile Rodgers and Chic, Brittany Howard of The Alabama Shakes, and Samara Joy are just a few of the icons dropping into Newport, RI's Fort Adams State Park on Aug. 2-4.
They'll be joined by Kamasi Washington, Laufey, Robert Glasper, Cory Wong, and Thievery Corporation.
All in all, 47 acts are scheduled to take the stage from Friday through Sunday.
And if you want to join them, general admission passes can be picked up as soon as today.
Although inventory isn't available on Dice until Wednesday, April 10, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before tickets are officially on sale.

There's never a shortage of celebrities at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, and this year is no exception.
From Paris Hilton to Taylor Swift, there were plenty of celebs in the crowd this year, including many who weren't able to maintain a low-profile for very long.
Here are some of the actors, social media personalities and models who have been spotted on and around the Empire Polo Club grounds in Indio during Weekend 1.

The couple were spotted at a number of Swift's friends' sets, including Bleachers, which includes her frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff, and Ice Spice, who played their "Karma" remix. The singer didn't need to hop on stage to have a great time at the festival — Swift and Kelce were seen dancing and smiling all night long.
Scheana Shay, LaLa Kent and Lance Bass"Vanderpump Rules" reality TV stars Lala Kent and Scheana Shay posted photos together in their festival fits Sunday, and they posed with pals Jenna Willis Fitness, Elaine Ratner and even NSYNC bass singer Lance Bass (who officiated the televised wedding of ex-"Vanderpump Rules" stars Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright). The pals were likely in town to support cast member James Kennedy, who performed at the famed Neon Carnival Coachella after party on Saturday.

The queen of Coachella is back and sliving her best life. She posted a video from a golf cart on Friday letting fans know she was on the way to the Absolut vodka tent, and then she came out onstage at the end of Vampire Weekend's Saturday set to play some cornhole. On Day 1, Hilton donned a ruffled white dress, white flower crown and white sunglasses, and on Day 2, she went for a black cutout dress and cowboy hat.
Justin and Hailey BieberSinger Justin Bieber has jumped up on stage during past festivals, but so far this year he's been spotted listening to his pals performances. He and wife Hailey Bieber were snapped by fans listening to Ice Spice and headliner Tyler, The Creator, on Saturday.
